If you are a United States uniformed services member on active duty, a Merchant Marine member, their spouse or dependent, or a U.S. citizen residing outside the country, you can register to vote and request a vote-by-mail ballot simultaneously using the Federal Post Card Application (FPCA). This form is available from any Voting Assistance Officer or online at www.fvap.gov.
You may also contact the Seminole County Supervisor of Elections by phone, mail, fax, or email to request a voter registration application or a vote-by-mail ballot.
Vote-by-mail ballots are sent to military and overseas voters at least 45 days before each election. If you’re an active-duty service member, Merchant Marine member, or their eligible family member stationed away from your Florida residence, or a U.S. citizen living abroad, you can request to receive your ballot by email or fax instead of regular mail.
If you provide an email address with your vote-by-mail request, the Supervisor of Elections will:
Every Seminole County early voting center and polling place has undergone extensive accessibility testing by our team in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act standards.
Every staff member and election worker takes part in voting-specific disability training. One of the key components of the training is to ask every voter, “How may I be of assistance?” If you would like assistance in voting, simply ask an election worker.
Prior to each election, our team visits assisted living facilities to proctor a smooth, trusted voting experience for voters.
Large-print sample ballots are available prior to each election.
Every polling location and early voting center has a dedicated election worker to assist those with disabilities in casting a ballot on an ADA-compliant voting device. From an audio ballot to a touchscreen interface with variable text sizes that allow those with motor disabilities to more confidently select their choices, our equipment provides all voters with a trusted method for casting their ballot.
