Connecting with Our Community
The Seminole County Supervisor of Elections Office is committed to educating voters of all ages and backgrounds through year-round outreach efforts. Whether we’re registering first-time voters at high schools, engaging families at community events, or offering behind-the-scenes tours of our office, our goal is to make the democratic process accessible and engaging for everyone.
Voter Registration Drives
Our team regularly participates in community events to register new voters and assist with updating existing records. At each event, we offer support with:
- Voter registration and updates (name, address, party, signature)
- Vote-by-mail ballot requests
- General election information and materials
To request a voter registration booth at your event, email: outreach@voteseminole.gov
Check out photos from past events on our Instagram, Facebook, and X pages.
High School Voter Registration
We work closely with Seminole County high schools to register and pre-register students to vote, starting as early as age 16. Our office has received international recognition for its success in engaging young voters and supporting civic education.
We can present to your class or set up a registration station at your school. To schedule a visit, contact us at: outreach@voteseminole.gov
Sunshine State Young Readers Award (SSYRA) Elections
For more than a decade, we’ve partnered with local schools to provide elementary and middle school students a real voting experience through the SSYRA Elections. Students who read three or more books from the Sunshine State list get to cast a ballot for their favorite title using real voting booths, paper ballots, and tabulation machines.
